Both Jolanda and John grew up on their parents nursery. Jolanda’s Father grew a variation of Flowers and vegetables in his greenhouse. John’s Father grew Tomatoes and Lettuce in his greenhouse.
When the company started growing on hydroponics in the early 1980’s the cultivation of Tomatoes in the Netherlands evolved to High wire, and because the Greenhouse was too low for high wire Tomato cultivation, they switched to Bell Pepper production from 1984.

When John finished his Agricultural education in 1985, he joined his father's company as full Partner. John and Jolanda got related in 1983 and married in 1990.
In 1992 John and Jolanda started their company constructing their own Greenhouse growing Peppers. They grew peppers until they sold the company in 2002.
During this period they gained a lot of experience, both participating in several Management trainings, working as investors/owners, and John as Chairman of the work group from the ZLTO organisation.
Growers were working together a lot, sharing information to keep up with the latest technology, growing methods changing significantly because of high Energy prices.
From 2004 John and Jolanda start using their knowledge by offering services like managing greenhouse projects for other companies/ investors.
Since 2016 They are fully certified in Lean Six Sigma and this only indicates that their way of working is highly professional.
